What you can edit in the browser
This tool fills existing interactive text fields, checkboxes, dropdowns, option lists, and radio groups. You can also add new text by typing it and clicking a position on the page preview. The exported PDF is created locally with no ToolZone upload or account.
It does not rewrite the document's original paragraphs, move existing artwork, perform OCR, redact content, or reproduce a full desktop publishing application. Use professional PDF software for scanned documents, legal redaction, signatures, and major layout changes.
How to fill and save a PDF
- Choose an unlocked PDF.
- Complete any detected form fields in the side panel.
- To add text, enter it, choose a size and color, then click the target page.
- Move between pages and repeat as needed.
- Optionally flatten fields, then download the edited PDF.
- Open the result and verify every page before sending it.
When no fields appear
The form may be a flat scan or may use an unsupported field type. You can still add simple text annotations. For a scanned form that needs selectable text or precise field creation, use OCR and a specialist PDF editor.
